This body of early work created in 1990 is my investigation with non-silver photographic processes. The technique used makes it possible to manipulate the surface of the paper with marks made by hand. By introducing gestural marks and strokes,  the division of photograph and painting becomes seamless. This body of work explores mythology and ritual. The addition of applied colour assists the images to take on other worldly qualities.
